initial consultation

We begin all of our projects with a 2-hour consultation. This step in incredibly valuable as we meet with you in person and gather all of the necessary information to create a custom design that is tailored to your needs. We review the spaces in your design plans, discuss how you use them, and learn about your style, budget, and timeline. This is valuable for you, too, as we share initial design suggestions and recommendations.

proposal + contract

With all of the information gathered during the initial consultation, we will put together a proposal for your project and send it to you, along with a contract and invoice. Once we receive a signed copy of the contract and the retainer, we’ll get started on the fun stuff!

design development + space planning

We will create a functional space plan that accommodates your ideas, wants, and needs. If you already have plans and/or mill work drawings, we will review and include any suggestions for potential adjustments. Alongside space planning, we will develop a design concept and select finishes, fixtures, furniture, and décor to reflect throughout the design.

design meeting (plan + finishes presentation)

At this stage, we will conduct an in-person meeting for a full space plan, fixtures, and finishes review presentation. We will also review, budget, schedule, and any outstanding items. With your feedback, we will make any necessary revisions prior to sign-off of the design.

design meeting (sign-off) + delivery of final package

With revisions made, we will present our final design plan. The IFP (issued for pricing) set will be signed off at this meeting. With everything finalized, we will be ready to begin!

ordering + installation

With the plan finalized, it is time to place orders and schedule delivery and installation. We will be available for on-site meetings at critical milestones during construction to make sure everything is getting installed correctly and is working out as planned.

completion + review

Now that the project is complete, we will conduct a walk through to address anything outstanding. We’ll assist with styling and décor to make sure you love everything about your new space, and take some photos for posterity!
