Winter Bucket List 2021 / 2022

Winter Bucket List 2021 / 2022

with all of the running to-do lists in our heads, sometimes you just want to get away from it all.

it may seem contradictory to be finding joy in a list of ‘things to do’ this winter, but I find having a bucket list helps me push through the dreary winter months.

I’m all about goal setting. If anything, for the motivation and structure it brings to my day-to-day. It keeps me accountable to myself, and it always feel good to check things off a list! But, when I’m feeling overwhelmed by an endless amount of tasks, or if I’m just feeling low, I like to write ‘done’ lists to remind myself how much I actually do accomplish in a day.

After a long day or a long week, it can sometimes be hard to pull the energy together to make a decision on what weekend activity to do. This is where I’ve found having a seasonal bucket list comes in handy! I write down a range of activities to do, from completing a 1000 piece puzzle to running a 10K race to sending a hand-written letter to a friend.

You’ll notice not everything is themed to the season. Since it spans late-December through to March, I wanted to make sure the tasks could be completed at any point in the season. So, with no further ado, here is what I’ve set out to check off from December 21st to March 19th:

Happy Winter!

Hello! Catherine here.

I’m a Vancouver-based interior designer and love all things creative! I’ll be sharing things that inspire me, posting design tips and DIY projects, chatting about all kinds of topics, and hopefully inspiring some people to make little changes at home to create an environment that is functional, beautiful, and a perfect reflection of you!
