MOOD board | February 2020
FEBRUARY FEELS ARE IN THE AIR.
Warmth. Imperfection. Observation. Actuation.
This February, my mood board is wrapped up in those four words - ideas, actions, and feelings I want to keep at the forefront of my mind this month.
When I’m putting my mood boards together, I don’t usually know exactly what I’m trying to create until I have a bunch of images in front of me and I’m digitally piecing it all together. I have a general idea of what I like, what I’m feeling, and what I want to make, but the end result is always a pleasant discovery for me and I really enjoy the process. As I write this, I’m thinking, “gosh, I need to apply this sense of ease to my daily living!” So, I will start working on that.
Now, if you’re looking at my February mood board and thinking, “girl, where are the hearts, chocolates, and flowers?” know that, as much as I love the commercialization of holidays like Christmas and Valentine’s Day (it brings extra sparkles and warmth to some gloomy times of the cold seasons for me), I also appreciate not being consumed by it all. So, my February isn’t just focused on one day, but on my goals as I move through this month and further into 2020.

velvet upholstery, anything citrus, early morning stretches, lime plaster walls, curved archways, skin tones, clear skies, brushstrokes, Moorish architecture, homemade bread, wine gums.
