MARCH FEELS ARE IN THE AIR.
Soft. Airy. Feminine.
This past month flew right on by, even with that extra day tagged on at the end, don’t you think? It feels like just yesterday I was trekking to the grocery store during the January snowstorm, and now it’s the third month of 2020!
March always comes up so quickly but I’m excited about it for a few reasons: it means it’s almost spring (blossoms in Vancouver!), our clocks go back to normal (daylight!), and it’s my birthday! It’s hard to believe that I’ll be turning 33 in a few short days. I don’t really feel my age, except for the daily morning (and afternoon, and evening) muscle stiffness as I train for a half marathon, which I don’t remember being a thing when I was younger. But I digress.
When I was putting together this mood board, those highlights of the month were the things I was thinking about – flowers, spring, light, and celebration. And all in one of my favourite colour stories – a classic Rococo period colour palette of light pinks and greens that is soft, airy and feminine. That’s my mood. You can’t go wrong with a little sugar, a little sparkle, and some pretty curves. I think this would even be a wonderful mood board for a feminine bedroom refresh or even a powder room revamp!

negative space, trying tasty vegan recipes, Art Deco, Asian-inspired design, the little details, re-watching episodes of This Is Us and crying equally as hard the second time around, creative foodies, birthday cake cookies, dewy spring mornings.
