november twenty twenty
mood.
The darker days are upon us.
Although we got to start the month off with an extra hour of sleep, that doesn’t slow down the process of our days getting shorter, and darker, and wetter here in Vancouver.
The moodier colour palettes of mid-autumn are taking over the landscape. And, obviously, my mood boards. The changing scenery can influence beautiful design, as rich and moody colours can create stunning and dramatic interiors with so much life and character.
Here is a list of things that I am currently loving and/or feeling inspired by:
velvet long-sleeve gowns, jewel tones, vintage filters, journaling, roasted root vegetables, blended soups, crisp morning air, watching leaves float to the ground, borrowed boyfriend flannel shirts, blood oranges, reruns of Friends, curved archways, and simmer pots.
Stay happy and healthy!
All the things,
Hello! Catherine here.
I’m a Vancouver-based interior designer and love all things creative! I’ll be sharing things that inspire me, posting design tips and DIY projects, chatting about all kinds of topics, and hopefully inspiring some people to make little changes at home to create an environment that is functional, beautiful, and a perfect reflection of you!
